Manchester City is still struggling on three fronts this season, and team manager Pep Guardiola has commented on the possibility of the Citizens winning a treble. The Sky Blues secured their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Bristol City 0-3. Phil Foden (2) and Kevin De Bruyne scored the goals for the visitors.

“No, forget about it,” was Guardiola’s first reaction. “When you start talking about that, you lose your mind and you drop out of competitions. We are not ready for something like that. We don’t even have one second to think about it, we only think about the upcoming game against Newcastle.
“I know we can’t drop points in the Premier League because we have Arsenal at the top and Manchester United coming from behind.”
Guardiola also commented on the upcoming Champions League rematch with RB Leipzig. In the first leg in Germany, the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw.
“And the Champions League, we’ll see what happens in two weeks. The important thing is that we are there, but of course, we will try to stay in the tournament as long as possible,” Pep assured.
